Through mentorship, chapter programming, events and advocacy, we cultivate leaders prepared to serve, lead and transform healthcare organizations and communities across DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Who we are
The Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter (WMAC) of the National Association of Health Services Executives was chartered in 1978, one of NAHSE's first two chapters, and serves healthcare leaders across Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland.
To advance and develop healthcare executives, strengthen leadership pipelines, and increase representation at senior and C-suite levels, while supporting NAHSE's national mission to improve the quality of healthcare delivered to underserved communities.
To be recognized for a legacy of leadership, executive engagement and strategic partnerships that elevate both individual careers and the healthcare ecosystem.
Strong partnership and support from the NAHSE Baltimore Chapter and local affiliate associations, including Black Health Connect, National Capital Healthcare Executives (NCHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
